is there any one had experienced 1394A external device can't be recognized under OS?

1394A controller is Ricoh.) F; \6 J' X6 o# |$ J2 @
4 F- E7 [/ B9 s7 G) Qthe situation is I could see the removable icon shown on the system tray but there is no device in OS device manager.* a3 F T' H8 k3 w3 u9 m
& Y7 ~& J- {9 `: a8 h
indeed there are some differents but I don't know why.

I wonder it's caused by BIOS but how to prove it?
