1394A external device can't be recognized

% {' [8 C# }8 V3 k" gI encounter this kind of issue recently.

  O5 x+ ^9 Q9 w1 E4 @* pOS is Vista & XP.

1394A controller is Ricoh.
% o: u7 s1 {: V) i1 ^* `* w! }; p' k
the situation is I could see the removable icon shown on the system tray but there is no device in OS device manager.

indeed there are some differents but I don't know why.
