1394A external device can't be recognized

! H8 i$ g0 x4 s: }% W" d* Wis there any one had experienced 1394A external device can't be recognized under OS?

I encounter this kind of issue recently.

4 v* j. E# o/ H; }" S3 h, ^OS is Vista & XP.

1394A controller is Ricoh.

/ i3 S9 |4 _$ _5 U$ S: kthe situation is I could see the removable icon shown on the system tray but there is no device in OS device manager.

indeed there are some differents but I don't know why.

/ q* q$ D& b0 I: u3 h( T( FI wonder it's caused by BIOS but how to prove it?

+ R- P/ U" O7 C: iis there any spec or document could let me refer to?
